Where were you going when you looked up and realized you’d entered this fairytale? Walking to work? Picking berries? These things almost never happen unless you are alone, right? You have to be alone to be able to zero in on the smell of moss, of the damp forest floor, to even smell the fog. Nonetheless, it is nice to share, and so maybe you were taking the kids on a picnic in the park and took a new turn. Maybe you ate your picnic and all laid on the blanket and had a nap together in this mystical place. And it restored you.
